Job Description:
Turner Digital Solutions is growing and we are seeking to hire a website designer to join our team. The goal of this role is to help with the designing needs of our clients. This could be anything from website design, blog/youtube thumbnail creation, infographics, social media posts, logos, and more. We are on the lookout for candidates who have a passion for graphic design and credible experience displaying their work.
Responsibilities:
- 5+ projects per year
- Creates homepages, inner pages, and wireframe prototypes in
- Photoshop Builds out simple websites
- Prototype mobile and tablet website layouts in Photoshop
- Design infographics Design landing pages
- Design display ads
- Design social branding and contests
- Design online branding
Required Experience:
- Design skills with the potential to create award-winning work
- Ability to quickly build modern CSS layouts (bonus)
- Outstanding skills in Photoshop (bonus)
- HTML and CSS skills are essential
- High level of design skill and technical proficiency
- Experience using jQuery
- Experience with responsive design/bootstrap
- Customer service experience
- Internet marketing experience Proficiency in Illustrator or InDesign
Necessary Qualifications:
- Knowledge of web design conventions
- Knowledge of user experience
- Knowledge of web standards, optimization, and web design best practices
- Knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3 Basic PHP/MySQL knowledge
- Knowledge of open-source CMS such as WordPress

Breakdown:
- 35% designing homepage and inner page prototypes for various clients using the Adobe Creative Suite
- 35% creating online advertisements, social media branding and identity, and viral marketing pieces such as infographics
- 10% helping to build/launch websites for various clients using HTML, CSS, and basic PHP knowledge while still learning HTML and CSS
- 20% working on-site enhancements for clients in various CMS’s including WordPress
Preferred Experience:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in art design, web design, or related degree)
